Øst Centingas puts on a series of shows throughout the year, both independently and as a contingent of Reiga Anglorum. Our days are filled with colourful craft displays, military trainings, and vast battles between the forces who ruled the Medieval world.
Jorvik Viking festival
Battles drawn from the pages of sagas, ØC travels north to fight for the city of Jorvik. Featuring vast Medieval markets, a march through the city, and an epic nighttime battle, the mix of mythology and history is brought to life.
Detling military odessey
This massive multi-period show is a crowd and re-enactor favourite. We are surrounded by warriors from throughout the ages and change our encampment and era every year.
The Battle of Hastings
The year 1066 changed the world and marked the end of the Viking age. Øst Centingas fortifies the Saxon line to try and resist the Norman invasion.

Come talk to our warriors and civilians and learn about the history and hobby we all love. We put on a variety of performances including, fashion shows, weapons displays, ship burials, Viking parliaments, museum talks and more to educate and engage our public.
